FLB Law Celebrates a Strong 2024 in Leasing with Expanding Restaurant Footprint

Westport, Conn. – (March 11, 2025) FLB Law’s Real Estate practice reported a strong 2024, handling more than 23,000 square feet in lease negotiations, amendments, and renewals, solidifying its clients’ presence across key metropolitan areas.

The majority of those leasing deals were for prominent restaurant brands, including Mexican Sugar, bartaco, Sixty Vines, Barcelona Wine Bar/Corsica, and Hawkers, supporting its reputation as a trusted legal partner in the hospitality sector.

Highlights include:

  • Mexican Sugar leasing a 9,024-square-foot space at the Simon Property, The Domain, in Austin, TX.

  • bartaco, known for its relaxed coastal-inspired atmosphere, expanding with locations in Miami and Jacksonville, FL; Hingham, MA; Ashburn, Charlotte, VA; and North Bethesda, MD.

  • Sixty Vines, continuing its growth with new locations in San Antonio and Dallas, TX; Gaithersburg, MD, and Raleigh, NC, with a new a 10,483-square-foot lease.

  • Corsica, securing prime spots for Barcelona Wine Bar’s new concept in multiple locations on the east coast.

Beyond restaurant leasing, FLB Law also facilitated key negotiations for Fairfield County-based landlord Northside Development in New Haven and Wallingford, CT.
