FLB Law Partner Matthias Sportini obtained summary judgment on behalf of a condominium association in a slip-and-fall case. The matter arose after a condominium owner filed a lawsuit against the association, alleging injuries from a slip-and-fall on ice on the premises.

This action follows their initial success in obtaining summary judgment in a gender discrimination lawsuit, a decision later overturned by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
FLB Law held a Day of Service in support of the Sterling House Community Center’s Back-2-School event on August 21, 2024. The event, open to all Stratford, CT, students, provides school supplies to school-age children, including uniforms, backpacks, crayons, pencils, scissors, notebooks and more.

FLB Law prevailed in an employment-related defamation case involving the firm’s client, a leading national provider of commercial real estate services headquartered in New York City. The client was sued by a former employee fired after allegations of his sexual harassment were investigated.
