FLB Law Secures Favorable Settlement in Premises Liability Matter Avoiding Protracted Litigation

FLB Law partner Brian Tims secured a favorable settlement for a client without the need for extensive litigation.  The plaintiff claimed she fell on stairs at the client’s retail establishment, allegedly causing a fracture that required surgery.  The plaintiff contended defective stairs caused the fall.

Through an early investigation, which involved inspecting the premises, Brian was able to disprove the plaintiff’s allegations. The matter was then settled on terms favorable to FLB Law’s client.

This case demonstrates FLB Law’s ability and willingness to explore the possibility of early resolution of matters before clients incur the costs of extended discovery and litigation.
