FLB Law Family Day at Wakeman Town Farm Focuses on Giving Back and Having Fun

FLB Law attorneys, staff and their families spent Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, at Wakeman Town Farm in Westport, Conn., for the firm’s Family Day.

FLB employees’ children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews enjoyed learning about, interacting with, and feeding the llamas, goats, chickens and bunnies.

“My family enjoyed the event,” said Partner Brian Tims, “especially my kids, who were able to tour the farm, play, and feast on pizza all in one evening.”

Also on the day’s agenda were crafts and a community give-back project for Person to Person (P2P). Our donation included 30 toiletry baskets filled with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and socks and 20 fresh produce baskets filled with potatoes, mangos, squash, apples and oranges.

Person to Person is a nonprofit organization that serves 28,000 residents in lower Fairfield County with numerous programs, including three food pantries, a clothing center and emergency financial assistance, among others. This video demonstrates the significant impact the P2P has on people’s lives.

Paralegal Linda Lauricella shared that her favorite part of the day was packing the gift baskets for those less fortunate than us.  “I was honored to be part of dropping the baskets off to the food pantry and seeing the joy on the faces of so many in need. Seeing someone so happy made my day!

FLB Law 2022 Family Day was a resounding success!
