FLB Law’s Annual Real Estate Outlook Set for May 19th
Westport, Conn. (May 11, 2022) – Real Estate Outlook, the annual Fairfield County real estate event co-sponsored by FLB Law, the Greater Norwalk Chamber and the Westport-Weston Chamber of Commerce, will take place on Thursday, May 19, 2022 in the People’s United Magnificent Room at The SoNo Collection. Networking begins at 8:30 a.m. and the panel discussion will kick off at 9 a.m.
Eric D. Bernheim, FLB Law managing partner and head of the firm’s Real Estate & Land Use Practice, will moderate a panel of prominent Fairfield County real estate executives including: Charlene O’Connell, vice president of Choyce Peterson; Edward Gormbley, principal of Workforce Partners; Alan Webber, CFO of M.F. DiScala & Co.; and planning and zoning professionals: Danielle Dobin, commissioner of Westport’s Planning & Zoning Commission and Steve Kleppin, director of Norwalk’s Planning & Zoning Commission.
“It will be energizing to have this event in person once again,” said Bernheim, who recorded a series of podcasts at the end of 2021 in lieu of a live event last year due to the pandemic. “So much has happened in the past six months – inflation, an increase in interest rates, changes in laws, etc. – that we thought it was time for an update on the real estate market. The panelists will discuss affordable housing, office leasing, commercial development and more.”
The panelist also will address the effects of the more than 17,000 change of addresses to Fairfield County last year – a trend that impacts each of the sectors represented on the panel.
Registration for the Real Estate Outlook is available on the Greater Norwalk Chamber website.
