FLB Law Celebrates One Year by Donating 1,200 Cans of Soup to Filling in the Blanks Food Drive
Westport, Conn. (February 14, 2022) – In honor of its upcoming one-year anniversary, Westport, CT-based law firm FLB Law donated 1,200 cans of soup to the Filling in the Blanks SOUPer Bowl Food Drive. Filling in the Blanks is a nonprofit organization based in Norwalk, CT, that provides weekend meals to children of low-income households in Fairfield and Westchester counties.
“Central to FLB Law’s culture and our ACCELERATE program is giving back to the communities in which we live and work,” shared Eric D. Bernheim, managing partner. “Therefore, in celebration of our one-year anniversary on February 19th, it only seemed natural to make a donation to a local charity, and what better way than tying it in with the Super Bowl.”
FLB Law donated $100 per team member, which converts to 1,200 cans of soup.
Through ACCELERATE, FLB Law supports creative solutions to the challenges of local nonprofits and small businesses. “With our wealth of experience and valued networks, we strive to move our community forward one organization at a time,” added Managing Partner Stephen P. Fogerty.
Other recent ACCELERATE initiatives include packing backpacks with holiday treats and essentials – pancake mix, syrup, a book, a couple of toys and a toothbrush/dental kit – for Filling in the Blanks and making birthday boxes for Norwalk-based Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC).
